HOUSTON – New details have emerged about the mysterious murder-suicide of a popular Instagram model in Houston, which happened this Sunday.
In an interview with ABC 13 the father of Janae Gagnier, from 33 years, also known in social networks as “Miss Mercedes Morr” , said that he was the person who found his daughter dead near the stairs of the apartment where the model resided.
Mark Gagnier shared details of the scene and She said that upon entering the apartment she looked at her daughter on the floor and that she thought she had fallen from the stairs, but upon further investigation she went up to the second floor where she found the alleged murderer.
“I had a knife nailed to the nape and was still alive, but soon after he left to breathe, ”said the victim’s father.
The alleged murderer was identified as Kevin Accorto, of 34 years, originally from Florida. Investigators have not disclosed a motive.
The father also shared that on the walls and some doors there were phrases written with lipstick, some asking for forgiveness and others were loving declarations.
The Police said that the victim was strangled and that he had suffered a severe contusion.
Popular model was found dead in a Richmond area apartment , as reported by authorities on Sunday.
Investigators believe it is a case of murder-suicide , but they also reported that they have found no evidence that the model had a relationship with her alleged murderer.
The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon at the Cortland Apartments facilities located on the block 5200 from Pointe West Circle.

Investigators also said they are trying to determine how the suspect knew of the woman because apparently they had no relationship of any kind.
The model’s father has also not been able to determine how the suspect could have entered the apartment or how he found out where his daughter lived.
Gagnier had a large number of followers on Instagram, his figures exceeded 2.6 million.
