TEXAS – New details have emerged about the mysterious murder suicide of a popular Instagram model in Houston, which happened this Sunday.
In an interview with ABC 13 the victim’s father, Janae Gagnier, of 33 years, also known as “Miss Mercedes Morr” in social networks, said he was the person who found his daughter dead near the stairs of the apartment where the model resided.
Mark Gagnier shared details of the scene and said that upon entering the apartment he looked at his daughter lying on the floor and that he thought she had fallen from the stairs, but upon further investigation he went up to the second floor where he found the alleged murderer.
” He had a knife stuck in the back of his neck and he was still alive, but p oco after he stopped breathing, ”said the victim’s father.
The alleged murderer was identified as Kevin Accorto, of 34 years, from Florida. Investigators have not disclosed a motive.
The father also shared that on the walls and some doors there were phrases written with lipstick, some asking for forgiveness and others were loving declarations.
The Police said that the victim was strangled and that he had suffered a severe contusion.
Popular model was found dead in a Richmond area apartment , as reported by authorities on Sunday.
Investigators believe it is a case of murder-suicide , but they also reported that they have found no evidence that the model had a relationship with her alleged murderer.
The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon at the Cortland Apartments facilities located on the block 5200 from Pointe West Circle Street.
Officers who arrived at the scene said that everything indicated that it was a murder-suicide, but they did not give further details.

Investigators also said they are trying to determine how the suspect knew of the woman because apparently she had no relationship of any kind.
The model’s father has also been unable to determine how the suspect may have entered the apartment or how he found out where his daughter lived.
Gagnier had a large number of followers on Instagram, his figures exceeded 2.6 million.
