There is a red alert on Telemundo after the rating of the second broadcast of “ La Casa de los Famosos ” . Despite having a great cast that includes Gaby Spanic , Alicia Machado , Pablo Montero , Jorge Aravena , among others, the audience seems to have turned their back on the reality show in a forceful way.
After a cold audience debut , the second live broadcast of the show suffered a terrifying audience drop. The program hosted by Héctor Sandarti fell dramatically and seems to be a response to the time organization that is felt within the production.
Let’s talk about rating numbers. The premiere of “La Casa de los Famosos” reached 1 million viewers in total. In the adult segment between 18 and 49 years old, the broadcast conquered 400 thousand. It wasn’t the best premiere, but the audience was more or less even during Telemundo’s primetime.
On Wednesday 25 August the second installment of the reality show was broadcast and its total reach was 919 thousand. However, was in the demo where a complete rejection is perceived as it could only achieve 290 thousand. That audience was the lowest of the night.
In comparison, we see the average of “Falling in love” which was 214 thousand , but this is a UniMás channel program, which does not have the same reach as Telemundo. For this broadcast of appointments to be so close to a Telemundo program is because it is actually very low.
“Hercai”, the Turkish telenovela that is after “La Casa de los Famosos” it managed to raise the audience to 1.3 million in total and 444 thousand in the demo. This tells us that people tune in to Telemundo only to see the Turkish production and do not watch the other programming.
“Café Con Aroma de Mujer” ends the primetime night with 1 million in total and with 396 thousand in the demo.
At the same time as “La Casa de los Famosos” is “La Rosa de Guadalupe” and “Diseñando Tu Amor” on Univision. The latter got in the demo 530 a thousand and 550 thousand, respectively.
Not all is lost for “The House of the Famous” and still they can save it since the format lends itself to modifying it as the game progresses. Nominations will be made on Thursday night and this is where the game really begins for everyone who is participating.
