Players must arrive in Australia on 15 January and will be subject to a mandatory quarantine of two weeks before the holding of the ‘ATP Cup, alongside two WTA tournaments and two ATP tournaments, all in Melbourne in the week leading up to the first Grand Slam lift, the Australian Open.
Draw of groups on 20 January
Only twelve teams, against 20 in 2020 po In the first edition, were selected by the organizers, on the basis of the world ranking of the best player from each country. They will be divided into four groups of three and the first from each pool will qualify for the semi-finals. Each confrontation between nations is broken down into two singles matches and a double. The drawing of lots will be carried out on January.
