Five people hit in the Hollywood Hills by a hit-and-run driver

Five people were injured, two of them seriously, later of being run over on Sunday night in the Hollywood Hills , near the Hollywood Bowl.

The person in charge, the driver of a white sedan car, fled without offering any help to the victims .

The events occurred approximately at 9: 05 pm on the outskirts of 7080 W. Mulholland Drive , reported Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.

A man from 19 years and a teenager of 16 were reported in critical condition , so transferred them to Cedars Sinai Medical Center for medical attention.

The other three people who were run over suffered minor injuries and refused to be sent to the hospital.

The identity of the five pedestrians hit was not released.

The car that caused the accident was possibly described as a white Honda Civic .

The police hope to delve into the details of the incident with the testimonies of the two people who were hospitalized as soon as their health condition allows.

The authorities also track possible surveillance cameras in the area whose recordings could aid in investigations.
