The Porsche Taycan versus a new variant

A brand new entry-level alternative is added to the Porsche Taycan based on rear-wheel drive and two types of battery.

The first electric car from Porsche never ceases to amaze. It is that to the Taycan Turbo S, Turbo and Taycan 4S options, another access variant with new features is added to the list.

It has differences in the equipment and also offers the possibility of choosing between two types of battery and only rear-wheel drive.

Regarding the comfort details, it includes tires of 19 inches, smaller than the Turbo and Turbo S variants which are 20 and 21 inches, respectively. It also offers adaptive air suspension as standard with electronic damping control.

All chassis systems on the Taycan are monitored with the Porsche 4D Chassis Control mechanism, analyzing and synchronizing all data in real time.

On the other hand, it is available with the so-called Performance battery that has a capacity of 79, 2 kWh. The power is 326 horsepower although with the “overboost” function it increases to about 408 CV with an autonomy of 431 kilometers.

Also offers Performance battery Plus variant with 93, 4 kWh. In this case, the autonomy is 484 kilometers and its power reaches 378 nominal CV or the 476 with overboost.

Another difference lies in the power recharging of each battery. In the Performance battery it is 225 kW, while the Performance battery Plus reaches 270 kW. In this way, it will be possible to recharge the 80% in 22, 5 minutes.

In turn, The Taycan is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.4 seconds and the maximum speed reached is 230 km / h.
