Promise fulfilled: Through tears Uriel Antuna confessed that he had promised the medal to his son

The attacker of the Mexican Soccer Team , Uriel Antuna returns home with an incredible gift for his country and his family , the medal bronze of the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020.

After beat the whole of Japan with a result of 3-1 Antuna tearfully confessed the promise he made to his son before going to the Olympics.

“My family, all those who were behind me, before coming to these Olympics I promised my son a medal and I am happy to return and present it to him ” said the footballer in an interview after the game.

The Chivas attacker commented proudly: “It is a moment that I cannot explain in words, I am eager to show my wife and son that I succeeded, what I promised I achieved ”.

Antuna assured that never imagined reaching a moment like that, and highlighted the role of his teammates and coach Jaime Lozano to reverse the setbacks that they had at the beginning of the contest.

“It was a very solid team, we were together, supporting each other, it was a revenge for us for what they had beaten us in the Group Stage ”, he sentenced.
