Eiza Gonzalez continues to triumph in Hollywood and is now one of the strong candidates to star in a new series on Netflix. The Mexican actress would be in talks to join the cast of “Three-Body Problem” that the creators of “Game of Thrones” would be writing , David Benioff and DB Weiss, as reported by the Deadline site.
The streaming platform series is based on in a series of science fiction books by Liu Cixin. In the story, a future is portrayed where In the first book, Earth awaits an invasion of the nearest star system. The universe in the book consists of three solar-type stars orbiting each other in an unstable three-body system. Earth suffers from extreme weather and shows how civilization has destroyed the planet.
Rosamund Pike, who shared credits with Eiza in the movie of Netflix “I Care a Lot” is one of the executive producers of the project. Brad Pitt’s production house, Plan B, will also serve as producers.
