Relatives of David Ordaz Jr. sue Sheriff for violation of civil rights

Sitting in a wheelchair and enduring the inclemencies of the suffocating heat, Edelmira Ramírez, mother of David Ordaz Jr., told Real America News disconsolate that her deceased son “was the first to be born… we waited for him with so much joy”.

The Ordaz family alleges in the lawsuit that the LASD sheriffs handled the case negligently, where instead of mitigating the situation they fired a barrage of bullets at the father.

“My dad was my best friend; his love for me was unconditional ”, said between thick tears, Emily Ordaz. “He suffered from depression and anxiety. “The bailiffs had no mercy on him or my family, or his children.”

For his part, David Ordaz Moreno, the native of Jalisco, Mexico, recalled that traumatic moment when saying that: “I did not expect that to happen; I thought the sheriffs would do things the way they should be, but they didn’t, they killed him in front of me and I couldn’t do anything … That’s unjustifiable. ”
