TEXAS – Authorities are searching for a 34 year old woman who mysteriously disappeared this weekend in Houston .
The woman’s child was found alone inside the vehicle on Saturday in the parking lot of a shopping center in the Midtown area at about 7 pm on the 3300 block of Smith Street.

According to the most recent update, Texas EquuSearch, which began the search for Laura Read since Saturday night, reported that the woman led her boyfriend to work this Saturday before heading to a mall located on West Gray Street.
One person looked at a child alone in the vehicle and called the car
“After finding out that the child was abandoned, the Police checked the license plates and realized who the vehicle belonged to when it was determined that the mother was missing,” said Tim Miller from Texas EquuSearch.
So far there are no solid clues about what may have happened or where Read is.
The woman is 5 feet, 10 inches and weighs approximately 130 pounds.
