A video circulating on social networks shows the moment when the leader of the Green Ecologist Party of Toluca, State of Mexico, Luis Miranda Barrera, is brutally beaten and knocked out in the parking lot of Plaza Arcos Bosques, in the Mayor’s Office of Cuajimalpa, of the Mexico City .

After the assault, the individual withdrew towards an elevator leaving the son of the former official on the ground.

According to the first reports, the victim was transferred to a hospital to be treated, where the degree of their injuries is assessed.

After the events, The Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City has already initiated the corresponding investigations to determine the causes of the incident and arrest the aggressor to answer for the facts.
