It is not the same to be a Leo born in August than a Leo with a birthday in July . While they are still just as passionate, they have substantial differences. He added that the Sun travels about one degree per day during each cycle of a sign. Leo’s season comprises of 23 July to 22 August , so Leos who were born in July belong to the first decan, while most Leos in August are from the second and third decan . There we can clearly notice the difference.
That said, Kahn managed to decipher what are the main differences between the July Leos and the August Leos .
Characteristics of the July Leos
July lions are the most stereotyped. Those of August, which belong to the second and third decan, have co-ruling planets that influence their energy, while those of the first decan only are ruled by the Sun , this indicates that their qualities are intact.
They are the classics who want to attract attention They naturally sparkle with glamor and are charismatic. They can sometimes exaggerate their qualities and are more egocentric than the August Leos.

Characteristics of the August Leos
August are ruled jointly by Mars or Jupiter . Both planets provide different energies to the Leo who are only ruled by the Sun. This means that they are more philosophical and have firmer positions.
They have a higher work ethic, but tend to be more spontaneous than July Leos because they have a stronger tendency to follow their impulses.
