During the first hours of this Friday 30 July it was announced that the Mexican comedian Sammy Pérez, lost his life at 55 years of a cardiovascular infarction after being intubated due to COVID – 19 , so one of the first to express their condolences was Eugenio Derbez.
Sammuel Pérez Reyes, better known as Sammy Pérez, won the affection and recognition of the public thanks to his charismatic personality and way of expressing himself before cameras, especially in various television programs with Eugenio Derbez.
After the news of his death was announced, it was also the comedian who shared an emotional message through his social networks, where, next to an image from the movie ‘No refunds are accepted’, he said goodbye to someone he considered a great friend.

During an interview with the program ‘Hoy’, the Hollywood actor spoke about the death of who he considered was a very special human being.
“I am really very sad, for me he was a very special person, he was not just a co-worker, he was my great, great, great friend, I loved him very much, I had a very strong and very good relationship with him, outside of work. Every time I had a party, a birthday when I lived in Mexico, he always went to my parties, to my birthdays and meetings. He was a person that I loved very much and was very close to me, so it hurts me because he was a good man, he was a good soul, a great human being and yes, today at 4 in the morning his nephews told us that he had passed away ”, he explained.
