Gloria Trevi is ready for her 'Divine Island'

There is still a little less than six months before Gloria Trevi embarks on her new international tour; However, the pop music star talks about the subject with such emotion that it seems that the event is going to take place tomorrow.

Gloria was referring to the pandemic that paralyzed the world and that left many of her projects truncated. But that does not mean that he stood idly by; He says that he dedicated himself to writing songs and that he has enough material for two albums.

For now A few days ago she released her most recent single, “We became crazy,” a song that was composed by at least five people, including Leonel García –from Sin Bandera–, Marcela de la Garza, herself and the Puerto Rican reggaeton player Guaynaa, a musical phenomenon from the island, whom she invited to sing this song with her.

“It is not a song where the Trevi invites Guaynaa and in which he is out of his world and vice versa, ”Gloria said. “Yes we go out of our comfort zone because I have to dog with the master of the dog and he has to rock a little bit, but don’t believe it, he also has his rocker inside.”

This song is part of the interpreter’s new album, which will be released in January at the same time the tour begins, which will be called ‘Isla Divina’ and which will begin at the National Auditorium in Mexico City. Meanwhile, between now and the end of the year will release a couple more cuts.

About his experience with the pandemic, Gloria recalled that this is not the first time that she has experienced difficult times.

“I have several apocalypses in my life,” she said. “But this one in particular has affected health; we have realized how vulnerable we are and the importance of being healthy. ”

He also said that she knew how to value freedom, “what you can live when you are free”, in a clear reference to her years in a Brazilian prison when she was accused of corruption of minors. And that he also knew what true love is.

“This [de la pandemia] has been a super tough situation,” he said. “But I always focus more on the ray of light than on the dark.”
