The name of the great Elvis Presley , who died on 16 August 1977, gave something to talk about a few hours ago after the sale of a mansion in Denver, Colorado , which was close to being his, but ended up discarding it because he could not accommodate his needs.

The property, which was built in 1972 by John and Elinor Campbell , attracted the attention of the ‘King of Rock and Roll’ for their design and its Japanese-style architecture, so he immediately made an attempt to buy it, being willing to pay anything for it.

Although he fell madly in love with the property and even offered $ 1.5 million for it, their love disappeared when he informed him on that it was not allowed to build security fences.

Although Elvis was not one of the distinguished residents of the beautiful mansion, there are other celebrities who did have the opportunity to enjoy each of its corners, as is the case of Peter Fonda, who stayed there for a week.

The residence, which has an extension of 10, 987 square footage, was recently released for sale at $ 5.2 million, a figure well above the one paid by Rob and Lola Salazar in 2014. Back then they paid out $ 815, 000 Dollars.

According to the technical sheet, the house has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, hall, kitchen, dining room, dining room, living room, living room main room, bar, laundry room, among other rooms.

In the basement area it has a wide range of amenities, such as a gym, a spa, a media room, a wine cellar and even a secret door.

Outside, on his lot of almost an acre of extension, it has a swimming pool with its respective spa area, with jacuzzi, with terraces and with very extensive green areas.

Also It has a guest apartment with kitchen, main room, bedroom, bathroom and a balcony.

Property History

The Campbells built the house based on the photograph of a Japanese temple that they saw in National Geographic, so its spectacularity is not in dispute.

They equipped it with an interior waterfall, a volcanic rock wall, a moat under a Torii gate and a spectacular pool with capacity for 88, 000 gallons of water.

After it was sold, the house belonged to the Salazars, con man Chris Harper and his wife, as well as football players Tyrone Braxton and Kevin Clark.
