With 19 years old Japanese Daiki Hashimoto was consecrated with the gold medal in gymnastics of the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020 , and as if that award were not enough, it also became the youngest athlete to win the gold medal in that discipline.
A 10 days to meet the 20 years, began dominating the final competition ahead of athletes like the Chinese Xiao Ruoteng and the Russian Nikita Nigornyy, the latter figure as current world champion in gymnastics and gold medal in the team discipline of the present Olympiad.

Although during the competition he received a note that he did not believe was fair , he knew how to recover and prevail over his rivals to occupy the first place in the table.
Hashimoto’s career began when he was just six years old , and with the age that he got his first gold it is likely that he will dominate the competition for several Olympics more.

It is worth noting the second and third places of the competition were occupied by athletes who are five and six years apart .
Hashimoto ended with a note of 88, 465 points, Routeng received 88, 065 points and the Russian Nigornyy occupied the third place with 88, 031 .
