Adaptation of the famous cycle of Isaac Asimov, Foundation , an ambitious sci-fi series, was overseen by the writer’s own daughter, Robyn Asimov, and David S. Goyer, the screenwriter of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight . Jared Harris ( Chernobyl ) takes on the role of mathematician Hari Seldon, who predicts the fall of the Galactic Empire but also the reconstruction of civilization .

“Bel-Air”, soon on Peacock

A new and dramatic take on the cult family comedy of the years 1998 , The Prince of Bel-Air , led by Will Smith. Bel-Air should gain some depth by asking what it means to be black in America today, marked by the death of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement.

“Colin in Black and White”, coming soon to Netflix

A series inspired by the life of American football player Colin Kaepernick. In Colin in Black and White , Jaden Michael stars as young quarterback and activist, Mary-Louise Parker ( Weeds ) and Nick Offerman ( Parks and Recreation ), his adoptive parents . Colin Kaepernick will be the narrator of the six episodes.

“Cowboy Bebop”, coming soon to Netflix

A live action adaptation of the cult Japanese anime of 1990 from screenwriter Cain Kuga. Cowboy Bebop follows the adventures of a group of bounty hunters traveling in a spaceship, the Bebop, in 2021. In the cast of this space western, John Cho, Mustafa Shakir, Daniella Pineda, Geoff Stults and Tamara Tunie.

” Dad, Stop Embarrassing Me ”, coming soon to Netflix

Dad, Stop Embarrassing Me sign the return of Jamie Foxx in a series! This multicamera comedy is inspired by the private life of the Oscar-winning actor and his relationship with his daughter Corinne. The star will play her own role while Kyla-Drew ( The Good Doctor) will play her daughter. By their side, David Alan Grier ( The disastrous adventures of the Baudelaire orphans ), Porscha Coleman ( Entourage ), Jonathan Kite ( 2 Broke Girls ), Heather Hemmens ( Roswell: New Mexico ), and Valente Rodriguez ( Happily Divorced ).

“Dexter”, soon on Showtime

Another revival? Dexter comes back to right the wrongs and offer a good final. At the helm are Clyde Phillips, who directed the first four seasons of the original series before retiring, and onscreen Michael C. Hall, star of the series. “A great opportunity to write a second finale,” according to Clyde Phillips.

After the delicious Bridgertons Chronicle , Inventing Anna is the second Shondaland production for Netflix. Better yet, this miniseries marks the first episodes that Shonda Rhimes wrote herself since the series ended Scandal in 2021. This drama is based on the true story of Anna Delvey (Julia Garner, seen in Ozark ), a Russian con artist who managed to impersonate a wealthy German heiress in New York of 2006 at 2017.

“Conversations with Friends”, coming soon to BBC and Hulu

The second serial adaptation of a novel by Irish author Sally Rooney after Normal People (available in France on Starzplay). Conversation with Friends tells the complicated story between Frances and Bobbi, two university students, former lovers who have become friends.

“The Pursuit of Love”, soon on BBC and Amazon Prime Video

Co-produced by BBC One and Amazon, The Pursuit of Love is the adaptation of the eponymous novel by the British author Nancy Mitford, released in 928. The miniseries directed by Emily Mortimer follows the learning and discovery of Fanny’s love (Emily Beecham, seen in Into The Badlands ) and Linda (Lily James, seen in Downton Abbey ), two young women from the British aristocracy during the interwar period . By their side, Dominic West ( The Wire, The Affair ), Andrew Scott ( Fleabag ), and Assaâd Bouab (the unforgettable Hicham Janowski of Ten percent ).

“Nine Perfect Strangers”, coming soon to Hulu

After Big Little Lies on HBO, David E. Kelley and Nicole Kidman reconnect with the work of Australian author Liane Moriarty in Nine Perfect Strangers on Hulu. The series adapted by David E. Kelley and John Henry Butterworth ( Fair Game ) is set in a spa resort where a group of nine complete strangers is gathered to start from scratch with their lives. The star plays Frances Welty, a successful romance writer eager to mend her back and her broken heart

” Halston ”, coming soon to Netflix

Ryan Murphy’s Next Miniseries ( Glee, American Horror Story, Hollywood, Ratched ) for Netflix, Halston , will look back on the life of Fashion designer Roy Halston Frowick, tragically died of AIDS in 1960, which became known over the years 1945 and notably dressed Jackie Kennedy, Liza Minelli and Elizabeth Taylor. This close friend of Andy Warhol will be played by Ewan McGregor.

“The Gilded Age”, soon on HBO

A new historical saga of Juliane Fellowes, the creator of Downton Abbey . The Gilded Age follows Marian Brook (played by Louisa Jacobson, daughter of Meryl Streep), a young, less fortunate woman looking to infiltrate the world of his neighbors, the Russell, the nouveau riche who made their fortune on the railroads. Alongside Louisa Jacobson, Christine Baransky, the formidable star of The Good Fight .

“Landscapers”, coming soon to HBO

After Elizabeth II in The Crown, Olivia Colman plays a slayer… Landscapers , based on a true story, tells the story of Susan Edwards, sentenced to twenty-five years in prison, for the murder of her own parents. A very popular news item at the end of the years 1980 across the Channel, since the bodies were only found 2006!

“Lisey’s Story”, coming soon to Apple +

Oscar-winning actress Julianne Moore, will be the heroine of Lisey’s Story, based on the horror-romance bestseller from Stephen King of 1998, on a woman who understands that her late husband was not all she believed. Stephen King, in a rare move, will write all eight episodes of the thriller and team up with executive producer JJ Abrams.
