The Government of California announced this Monday a vaccination verification and testing program that will be implemented starting in August for all state employees and health workers .
The new provision was introduced by Governor Gavin Newsom .

According to the announcement, municipal employees must have a certificate of vaccination before August 2 , and that worker who has not received the dose must be tested for COVID – 19 mandatory, as well as to use face masks.
This provision will also apply to healthcare workers . If an employee in this sector has not been vaccinated, they will have to undergo tests for COVID twice a week.
Also, the state authorities will recommend that workers who have not been vaccinated use N masks 95 .
Sector officials state health estimates that the total compliance of state employees is had by 23 of August.

Register an increase in cases at the state level
In California, the increase in COVID cases – 19 reached 7, 500 new infections per day last weekend.
The number of patients requiring hospitalization is also on the rise. Last weekend you entered an average of 600 new patients per day .

Given the increase in cases, Los Angeles County forces its residents to wear masks when they stay in public areas indoors regardless of whether they have already been vaccinated or not, while six Bay Area counties recommend that the public wear a mask indoors.
