Young Hispanic man playing video games shot to death in his bedroom; his mother had recently passed away

SAN ANTONIO – A young Hispanic who kept awake playing video games in the comfort of his room died shot in the head.

According to the authorities of Bexar County, San Antonio metropolitan area, the adolescent of 15 years died after receiving a gunshot wound to the head this Tuesday morning.

The Bexar Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Tristian Jaden Rosas.

The San Antonio Police reported that Rosas was hit by a stray bullet that went through the wall of the apartment where he lived at around 3 am

“This is very tragic, especially since this young man’s life has been lost,” said Chris Ramos, spokesman for the police.

Ramos explained that the shooting was the result of a fight between several people in a neighboring apartment. The group apparently went to the parking lot, where the fight continued and the shots were fired.

Young Rosas was not the only victim, a man from 40 years was injured and is hospitalized. Police believe this person was among the people involved in the fight.

The incident occurred at the Gates of Capernum Apartments complex, located at 8600 Waters Edge Drive, west of San Antonio.

A relative of Rosas told the media that the minor had been living with him for a short time, since her mother had recently passed away.

Investigators questioned several witnesses to identify possible suspects and arrest them.
