They denounce acts of racism against Hamilton for collision with Verstappen

The English pilot Lewis Hamilton has been the victim of strong racist attacks during the last hours, after the collision he had against the Dutch Max Verstappen in the Grand Prix of Great Britain disputed this Sunday.

Through social networks fans have posted offensive messages against the seven-time world champion in Formula 1 , and is accused of having done it on purpose.

Faced with the accusations and the accusations, Formula 1 and the International Automobile Federation have repudiated the Actions that threaten the morale of the rider.

Meanwhile, the Mercedes team also spoke about it and condemned the action of the fans as unsportsmanlike.

“These people have no place in our sport and we urge that perpetrators be held accountable for their actions. Formula 1, the FIA, the drivers and the teams are working to build a more diverse and inclusive sport , and these unacceptable online abuse behaviors must be highlighted and eliminated ”, he stated Mercedes.

Hamilton and Verstappen collided in one of the strongest corners of the circuit , the Englishman wanted to storm the first place of the race, while the Dutchman defended it.

Both turned their car to the limit. However Hamiltón got to Verstappen and made him go off the track.

In the incident Verstappen’s car it was a mess, and the pilot had to be transferred to a hospital for a general check-up.

For the event, Hamiltón was penalized with a sanction of 10 seconds , which did not do much damage, as he ended up winning the race.

Faced with this situation the Dutch pilot regretted what happened and criticized that the British did not receive a fairer penalty for the incident.
