Shakira returns to the music scene with his new single “Don’t Wait Up”. The Colombian singer released the song by Sony Music Latin and RCA Records and it is a danceable hymn of empowerment that invites everyone to the track.
“ I’m excited to share my new song ‘Don’t Wait Up’ with everyone – the day we created it in the studio, I I knew it would be perfect for summer and those nights where you don’t want to think about tomorrow! “, said the star.
Along with the song’s release, Shakira premiered a music video that was filmed in Tenerife, Spain.
The video was shot on the island of Tenerife belonging to the Canary Islands, a popular tourist destination with beautiful landscapes. The Colombian singer stayed for several days at Abama Resort Tenerife in the municipality of Guía de Isora, where she recorded some of the most memorable images of the short film.
“Don’t Wait Up” is authored by Ian Kirkpatrick and Emily Warren. His music video is directed by Warren Fu.
