New record: Border Patrol reports 188,000 immigrant apprehensions at the border

The Border Patrol detained or expelled 188, 000 immigrants during the month of June, which means a new record of arrival of non-citizens to the United States.

The figure was advanced by CNN and taking into account May data from the Customs and Border Protection office ( CBP ) is about 9, 000 immigrants more than those registered in May, when the detention or expulsion of 180, 000 people.

Although there has been intense pressure from groups that defend immigrants to end with the Title 42 , which allows immigration authorities to expel people s for health reasons in the face of the COVID pandemic – 19, the Biden Administration continues to enforce the rule.

In the Laredo Sector, Border Patrol Agents arrested undocumented immigrants in different actions in homes, where the “coyotes” had them abandoned.

Over the span of five days, Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents, working with federal, state, and local law enforcement partners, discovered five stash houses and apprehended over 100 undocumented individuals throughout Laredo.

The Biden Administration has sent the message to undocumented immigrants who do not travel to the US, because they will be expelled, in addition to that the route is not safe.

The State Department launched a new campaign in Central America to try discouraging people from traveling north , reported CNN.
