Madonna considers Britney Spears legal guardianship a modern slavery case

Madonna was the last in a long list of celebrities who wanted to publicly support Britney Spears in his battle to put an end to the legal guardianship that for more than a decade has prevented him from making decisions in the framework of his personal life or professional career, leaving them in his place in the hands of third parties like his father.

After hearing predictably the testimony that his former “musical heiress” offered two weeks ago in court, the queen of pop has not hesitated to use Instagram to define the current situation of the singer of “Baby one more time” as a flagrant violation of the most basic human rights.

“Give this woman her life back. Slavery was abolished a long time ago. Death to the greedy patriarchy that has been doing the same thing to women for centuries ”, added the veteran artist of years, which starred in one of the most iconic moments in the history of MTV when he kissed Britney during their joint performance at the Video Music Awards of 2003.

Madonna has also directly addressed the pop princess to promise that both she and other people – whom she did not want to mention – are working hard to get her out of the prison she is in.
