This Saturday's undercard: Rey Martínez will defend flyweight belt

In Guadalajara, Jalisco, Julio César Martínez will display his World Boxing Council Flyweight belt against Joel “Trino” Córdova in the main fight of this Saturday’s undercard.

At the weigh-in ceremony, in which participated in promoter Eddie Hearn , the two boxers recorded the 112 pounds established for the fly category.

The objective of “Rey” Martínez, who was absent from the ring due to medical issues, is unify the Flyweight championships as soon as possible to upgrade to the Superfly category (115 pounds).

In the fight the favorite is the current champion accredited by the WBC, who has a total mark of 17-1 , with 13 knockouts . On his mars, the Mexican Córdova has a record of 12 – 4-2. It should be noted that “Trino” has nine fights without being defeated.
