The new Aston Martin Vantage Roadster was created to celebrate a legend of 100 years: his old “A3”, the first sports car created by the brand that is part of the Aston Martin Heritage Trust (AMHT) collection from 1999, when it was purchased for full restoration. Based on this historical model, the brand has manufactured this new model that will be shown in public, for the first time, at the centennial celebration event of the “A3”, scheduled for Saturday 26 June in the Dallas Burston Polo Club, Southam, Warwickshire.

The new Vantage Roadster represents the meeting between the past of the brand and its future , as it does show off historical details and all the technology that Aston Martin now has. As with the new models of the iconic 911 Recently introduced Porsche GTS , This is a two-seater sports car, whose exterior design is highlighted by a grille with a glossy aluminum edge and black checkered mesh, to match its bodywork, which has been decorated with the same emblem that was once used on the “A3 ”. Another of its most outstanding details are its bronze brake calipers whose appearance connects with some details in the old model created in 1921.

The bronze color also rests on some controls inside the cabin, thus sealing the centennial palette and the winks with the past.

“It is only fair that this great brand take advantage of the opportunity to celebrate the centenary of their oldest surviving model and I am delighted that my team, working with AMHT and Aston Martin HWM, has been able to create this tasteful but appropriately thought-provoking tribute to our historic ancestor, ”he stated. Simon Lane, Director of Q and Sales of Special Projects at Aston Martin.
