Héctor Parra will be detained for at least one month until his appeal is resolved

The defense of the actor, who was denounced for sexual abuse by his daughter Alexa, made two appeals to try to get his client to regain his freedom

Héctor Parra might not get his freedom soon . The actor who was accused by his daughter of sexual abuse will have to wait up to a month in detention before the judge’s decision is overturned by his defense team.

The actor from 45 years was arrested last 15 June after her daughter Alexa reported that she was sexually abused when I have six years old. The judge ruled to link Parra to trial. The actor’s lawyers appealed this Wednesday with the aim of reversing the judge’s determination.

The defense argues that they found irregularities that the court did not assess when it issued its ruling during a hearing. “The only thing he considers is the appearance of the criminal act, but gives preference to the particular opinion and the interviews that the witnesses gave The universal.

“In the interviews it is noted that none of them were satisfied to see the facts that were reported, and the opinion lacks of value, the opinions of the prosecution have greater preference, which in this case are three. ”

Two petitions were made on appeal; that it be ordered to revoke the judge’s determination for the immediate release of Parra, and that the evidence with the indicated irregularities be assessed.

Before this happens, Héctor Parra will have to spend at least a month in the prison.

His eldest daughter, Daniela Parra, has spoken in favor of the actor and is currently in the process of obtaining a pass at the prison so that he can see it. He hopes that next week he can access.

In February 2019 the first accusations were made by his ex, Ginny Hoffman and his daughter, Alexa. It was until October of last year that a formal lawsuit was filed. Parra has always denied any type of abuse, for his part, Hoffman has assured that this was not revenge against his former partner and has supported their daughter in her decision to report.
