“His outstanding work on behalf of the most vulnerable” has led the Puerto Rican singer to be honored with a special award at Univision’s great summer event

Summer is getting ready to receive the Youth Awards 2021 coming more hot than ever. Each year a superstar is awarded the “Change Agent” award which this year will be Daddy Yankee . It will be next Thursday 22 July starting at 7 pm/6c that the Univision public will be able to tune in to the great event live.
“At ‘Premios Juventud,’ we have celebrated Daddy Yankee for his enormous contributions to Latin music as a world icon. This year, we are proud to honor him for his exemplary role as a humanitarian who drives change in our community and the world, ”said Ignacio Meyer, Senior Vice President of Music, Non-Fiction and Development at Univision. “His outstanding work on behalf of the most vulnerable, whether with Daddy’s House or his support of other campaigns, makes him a source of inspiration for our youth and one of the recipients of this year’s prestigious ‘Agent of Change’ award.” .
Daddy Yankee is the first artist announced to receive an “Agent of Change” award on this year’s show. His efforts to combat world hunger include Daddy’s House , an entity he founded in the Dominican Republic that is dedicated to feeding children on a daily basis. In addition, the king of reggaeton has participated in several campaigns with Feeding America, Habitat for Humanity, Casa Protegida Julia de Burgos and the Red Cross.
As already announced, Alejandra Espinoza will host the celebration this summer’s most anticipated, live from Watsco Center in Miami, with other hosts to be announced later. Borja Voces will be the driver behind the scenes and will give the latest news to the fans . “PJ Takeover”, the popular prelude program, will be in charge of Gabriel Coronel, Jomari Goyso, Roberto Hernández, Clarissa Molina and Fátima Molina.
