Alexa, the daughter who reported Hector Parra for abuse: “How do you expect your dad to hurt you like this?”

Héctor Parra was arrested for the alleged abuse of his own daughter , now both Alexa and her mother, Ginny Hoffman, appeared before the media to talk about the details about the case against the actor.

The actress of 47 years told El Universal that his daughter Alexa has not seen her father since 14 years, to request of the teenager. Alexa, from 19, declared that Parra’s abuses began when she was six years old and ended at 14 , however his manipulation played a fundamental role in the process.

“I did feel uncomfortable but at the same time I didn’t understand why, it’s my dad, how do you expect your dad to hurt you like that? So I didn’t know what to do, I was confused, ”she said. “I met my mother’s husband, he has another daughter, and I saw that he did not treat his daughter the way my father treated me, so I realized that what was bothering me did make sense.”

Mother and daughter appeared next to their lawyers before the press. Ginny assured that she is trying to be strong right now, however she could not help but burst into tears. “ They abused my daughter and the world has come over me and against me , I only ask you to put aside my career, the name, the name of him (his father), think if you would have been in my place and that happens to you like this, if you touch a child you are capable of anything “, he declared.

About the statements he gave to the magazine TVNotas, Hoffman acknowledged that it was a mistake to have spoken before filing a formal complaint. He also assured that when he gave the interview to the media he still did not have all the details of the abuse.

Alexa said that it was she who sought the help of Sergio Mayer, after she saw how I was defending a case. Mayer contacted her with the office that is handling her case today. One of the young woman’s lawyers denied that there is no influence peddling and said that the case they have been working on for 13 months is pro brono.

This Friday the first hearing between the parties will conclude and it will be determined if Parra is linked to the process, for which of the two crimes or if he will be accused for both. Alexa’s lawyer said that if found guilty Héctor Parra could face a sentence of ten years.
