Not this time: Chivas closed the doors of the herd to Marco Fabián

The good son comes home once, but perhaps not twice. Marco Fabián was offered to Chivas de Guadalajara after ending his contract with Juárez FC, but the “Rebaño” board chose not to call him back .

According to the Mediotiempo portal report, the decision was joint: both the board of directors and the coaching staff considered that a second return of “Marquito” to Chivas “was not viable.”

However, the journalist Rubén Rodríguez reported for Record that it was Ricardo Peláez , Sports Director of the Chivas de Gualadajara, the in charge of refusing to hire Marco Fabián .

CHIVAS SAID NO TO MARCO FABIÁN @ ruubenrod , Collaborator of Record informs us in his column today that Ricardo Peláez, has the last word in the signings of Chivas and Marquito was offered to the team but he said NO upon his return. 🇦🇹

Adding the two stages of Marco Fabián in Chivas, we count 232 matches, 57 goals and 36 assists . “Marquito” became a modern emblem of the club, leading the club for seven years. He won an MX Cup with the “Sacred Rebaño”.

His internship in Juárez was disastrous: neither scored a goal nor assisted in 24 matches played . Ricardo “Tuca” Ferretti told him that he would not count on him. His future is still up in the air.
