The former coach of America regretted that “El Vasco” now has to face the Eagles

If someone was excited that América would manage to sign Javier Aguirre before he signed it Monterrey , that was Carlos Reinoso , since he has always made public his fanaticism for the Águilas and considered “Vasco” as the ideal coach to the set of his loves.

And they both know each other well and have a great love for the azulcrema club ; together won the campaign championship 1983 – 84 , with Reinoso on the bench and Javier on the court, a very significant title for “El Vasco”, since he was the only one who he won as a player and in the so-called “end of the century” he scored one of the goals with which they beat the staunch rival: the Chivas.

“I saw Javier with that leadership and those conditions of a different player on the field, with command, with authority to transmit to his teammates what I asked,” continued the “Master” Reinoso.
“I would take him out on the bench, sit him with me, we lost some 30 seconds, a minute or a little more and explained what I wanted on the field and Javier transmitted it very well. Since he was a player, he was a leader ”, he said.
And the admiration is not only for nostalgia, since l hen Aguirre’s debut with Monterrey, Reinoso surrendered to the Mexican strategist for his personality and sporting ambition.
“Listen to him after the triumph of Monterrey, which won 2-0 on the road, and listen to him that he was not satisfied… there are many technicians who are satisfied with drawing visitor. That is why I love listening to Vasco and knowing that he has grown. Such a picturesque and natural person ”, he concluded.
