Airbnb subsidizes a one-year stay anywhere in the world to 12 candidates who then review their experience

The company is looking for 12 people to live remotely in exchange for you reviewing what you are experiencing for a period of one year. According to a statement from the firm, its Live Anywhere on Airbnb program will be giving this possibility to those who are selected.

According to the statement, those chosen will be asked to “share their experiences with us to help inform about future updates and product innovations on the platform to better adapt to the nomadic life ”.

Those who are away from home for one year, they will have the guarantee that Airbnb will cover the cost of accommodation and provide an allowance for transportation for the duration of the program, the statement details.

According to the Afar portal, the The announcement comes as Airbnb announced that several travelers have expressed their desire to live somewhere other than where their employer is located after the pandemic ends.

The company determined that, at least, 74% of its customers, who were surveyed at the beginning of 202, expressed that they want to live an adventure such as the one that is being offered , so this possibility was not launched out of nowhere.

It was reported that the chosen ones should share with Airbnb their personal experiences on what the nomadic life is like. The company hopes to use the reviews to improve its long-term stays by offering better features and services for living and working remotely.

In doing so, Airbnb stated that it will focus on the ideal types of accommodation and what works best for long-term guests , so ways will be sought to help foster connections between guests and the local community, as well as businesses.

Those who are interested in participating must be of legal age or at least 18 and may be legal residents from Argentina, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Chile, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia.

Those who live in Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, the Philippines, Portugal , Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, the United Kingdom or the United States. Another requirement is that the applicant must have a valid passport until at least February 1, 2023.

Applications must be submitted online and the deadline is 30 June 2021. The 12 participants will be selected in July and will start traveling in September 2021. Airbnb reported that it is looking for a diverse set of participants, including families, remote workers, those in the creative arts and empty nests.
