At least one person died and eight others were injured, including two children aged two and thirteen, in a shooting in the city of Savannah, in the state of Georgia, local authorities reported.
The shooting occurred shortly before 9:00 p.m. Friday, when officers responded to notices of a shooting at the Fred Wessels Homes development.
As reported by the Savannah Police Department spokeswoman, Bianca Johnson, when officers have arrived at the scene they found “multiple victims”, reported Fox 28 .

“Have a total of nine victims with gunshot wounds, one of them an adult has died, “said Johnson, who said that among the injured there are two children aged two and thirteen, who are not in serious condition.
Authorities have not provided further information so far and have not said if any suspects were in custody.
