More freshness for the BMW X3 and X4

The BMW X3 and X4 present their update simultaneously with some changes in their design and new technical advances.

The Bavarian house has unveiled the renovations alongside the BMW X3 and X4 . Without losing their essence of SUV and sports coupé SUV respectively, they show their restyling with more equipment, mechanical novelties and an improved appearance.

Regarding the propulsion there are multiple options of four or six cylinders (gasoline or diesel) together with a soft hydridation system of 48 volts.

The assigned horsepower ranges from 184 to 360 CV in both cases. As for gasoline we find the xDrive 20 i (184 CV), xDrive 30 i (245 CV) and M 30 i (360 CV).

For diesel add the xDrive 20 d (190 CV), xDrive 30 d (286 CV) and M 40 d (340 CV).

There is also an xDrive plug-in hybrid option 30 e of 292 Horsepower.

The eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission is complemented by the system xDrive.

On its design, the BMW X3 shows a front renewed with slight changes in his kidneys. Sharper optics and restyled bumpers are part of it. In the rear area the headlights have been retouched.

As for the X4 presents a specific pattern on its more modern kidneys and slight retouching in the optics.

The rims offer new designs and both the rear bumpers and the lighting structure have been modernized.

Inside, the changes are more noticeable. The layout is similar to the Series 4, with a digital dashboard of 12, 3 inches and another screen 10, 25 inches slightly oriented to the driver.

In addition, seats are released and some moldings have been modernized. The combination of materials and colors is arranged to provide a fresher look.

On the other hand, the BMW X3 and X4 include the driving assistants such as Lane Keeping, Adaptive Cruise Control, Steering Assist and Intersection Warning that are part of Driving Assistant for the first time.

Thus The German firm shows its renewed X3 and X4 with all the available technology.
