The family of the man who killed nine co-workers at a San Jose , California, has apologized and disclosed details about the personality of the shooter that shook Silicon Valley and the country in general this week.

The Mercury News newspaper achieved the first extended interview with relatives of Samuel Cassidy, the man from 57 years that he held a great grudge against his colleagues and bosses in the Valley Transportation Authority (VTA), according to testimonies from close people.

The same day that the authorities found in Cassidy’s house a dozen weapons, many explosive devices and more than 22, 000 bullets, the shooter’s sister said that he was often tense and drank personally many comments .

The newspaper reported that Cassidy went to her parents’ house just the Monday, two days before the shooting , to take her mother’s car to the smog check. James Cassidy, her father, said he did not notice any signs on that visit.

“I don’t think there is anything I can say to ease the grief. I really, really, I’m very sorry ”, said the Lord of 89 years when he was interviewed outside his home on Friday after returning from the supermarket.

Ann, the killer’s sister, said: “Something must have happened (Tuesday at her work).” However, she admitted to the aforementioned diary: “In recent months I felt like I lost it… But now I have to live with the fact that I didn’t try anymore. ”
