AMLO confirms the visit to Mexico of the Director of the CIA, William J. Burns, and says that it will be “well received”

The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador confirmed in his morning conference the visit to Mexico of the director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA, in English) of the United States William J. Burns .

“He is going to arrive, he is about to visit Mexico, today I was informed in the morning, but I think he is going to arrive in a few more days and it is well received, “said the Mexican president.

From the National Palace, the Tabasco president highlighted the importance of the Mexican government having cooperation with the different agencies of the United States .

There must be communication with the agencies of the United States Government, with the CIA, with the DEA, with the FBI, with all these agencies, there has to be cooperation and this request is made through diplomatic channels, “he said.

Andrés Manuel López Obrador said he did not know the agenda of this visit and assured that in Mexico there is nothing to hide.
