'Friends: the Reunion', Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer were in love in real life
Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer admitted they were in love when they recorded Friends . In anticipation of meeting the cast of the series, which was released this 27 May on HBO Max , the actors revealed that their partner in fiction could have been a reality.
In the story, Jennifer of today 52 years and David of 60, gave life to Ross and Rachel who finished and returned repeatedly throughout the story. Now, in the recent reunion special they revealed that they had feelings for each other in real life when they were filming the first season of the sitcom.
It was the host, James Corden who asked them the question while the six actors were sitting in a replica of the iconic armchair in the “Central Perk” cafeteria.
“I can’t believe there are no off-screen romances,” said the presenter to which Aniston and Schwimmer reacted saying that occurred during the first season.
David admitted that during the first installment he was in love with her, to which the protagonist of The Morning Show said it was reciprocated. They both admitted that nothing ever happened between them because either of them was always in a relationship .
All present, including their setmates reacted to the revelation. Matt LeBlanc got into his role as Joey Tribbiani to express surprise.
The Golden Globe winning actress he remembers that at some point he commented that he did not want his first kiss to be in front of the cameras, however it was. The actors were professionals and nothing else happened. They even commented at the meeting how strange it was that nothing came to light in all these years.
Friends: The Reunion is a special presented by HBO Max , which premiered this Thursday in the United States. In Latin America the streaming platform is not yet available, however fans of the series will only have to wait until 29 of June, the day he will make his debut, as confirmed by HBO.
The reunion of Friends reaches 17 years of having finished the successful series, which conserves thousands of fans all over the world.
