During injury time in the second leg of the semifinal between Cruz Azul and Pachuca , spirits heated up after Uruguayan forward Jonathan “Cabecita” Rodríguez received a push from a Tuzos player, Gustavo Cabral.
Faced with defeat imminent of Pachuca, who lost 0-1 from the minute 51 thanks to the cement goal by Santiago “Chaquito” Giménez , Tuzos’ players showed signs of frustration and helplessness every time the minutes passed.
That is why in fraction three of the discount there were side and side shoves , which caused the yellow card for Giménez, who was on the substitute bench, and the subsequent red for the Argentine Cabral.
