The Dodgers have won their five games this week and nine of their last 10 to continue climbing positions in the brutal Division West of the National League, where San Francisco and San Diego lead with a record of 28 – 17. Los Angeles improved to 27 – 18 , a game away.

Giants and Padres have the best record in all of MLB, and the Dodgers now have the fifth-best record.
