A Volkswagen SUV dons an adventurous outfit


The prototype named Taos Basecamp is Volkswagen’s latest challenge that adds greater aggression to face the various terrains.

One of the brand-new SUVs from Volkswagen has already developed a more extreme variant, in this case the Taos Basecamp Concept seeks to become reality.

Aesthetically it looks with a greater clearance to the ground thanks to the modifications in the suspension and the specific tires with dark rims.

Its body is coated on a Waimea blue combined with matte black finishes. The chrome appliqués and orange details give it a youthful look.

It also includes a luggage rack Special with a series of additional lights to improve visibility at night.

The Volkswagen Taos Basecamp Concept also incorporates on the interior cargo space a series of elements for adventure.

There and thanks to the grid that divides the rear seats can be placed ropes, lanterns and other items that passengers wish.

Regarding the mechanics, no information has been provided. It could have the engine of the conventional 1.5-liter turbocharged version of 158 CV.
