The Soccer World Cup is probably one of the most important and anticipated tournaments in the world. Currently, this tournament is played every four years , making fans look forward to each edition. However, before the FIFA , the idea arose again that the wait shortened to just two years .
The highest governing body of world football announced that, the Football Federation Saudi Arabia , formally requested that the timing of the World Cup be evaluated. The federatives proposed that the competition, both male and female, be held every two years .

This proposal will be discussed tomorrow at a meeting virtual in which the 211 federations associated with the organization . In this call, the viability of this proposal and its acceptance by the other federations will be determined.
