In what constitutes a major surprise, the city of Fresno , in the Central Valley of California, has been ranked the best in the United States for the “Romance”.
At least that’s what a comparative study by the romantic site MyDatingAdviser.com recently published to designate
the best cities for singles in the country . The results are interesting and clear, debatable, starting with Fresno.
The site explained that the results were determined by comparing 150 of the most populated cities in the country in four “dimensions”:
1 – Population attributes (percentage of singles, population diversity, educational level, well-being, life expectancy)
2 – Romance (marriage rates, sexual activity, dating from the LGBT community, cost of a bottle of wine and cost of a dinner)
3 – Quality of life (weather, time to travel, safety, pollution, medical services).
4 – Economic accessibility (services, rate of employment, average rental price, average house price, average salary).
It was in the line of “Romance” where no one was above Ash tree, a city with a high percentage of Hispanic population which is the largest in the Central Valley and located at the foot of the mountains.
“To note: Even on a study from a dating reviews site, Fresno ranked worst for pollution levels. “
