Since the idea of incorporating a soccer team in the State of Florida was born, the president of Inter Miami, David Beckham, has always mentioned that the main idea is to gradually grow as a club within the MLS. In the statement published by Inter on its website they state that “ Miami Freedom Park will become a recreation destination for all Miamians to enjoy , it will feature 58 hectares of public parks and green spaces, a technology center, restaurants, shops and soccer fields for the community, and a stadium of 25, 000 people for Inter Miami. ”
They affirm that the project will be 100% fine funded by club owners funds . Among the benefits that Miami Freedom Park will have for the community are more than $ 40 million of annual dollars that will pay in taxes and the generation of more than 13, 000 jobs.
