HOUSTON – For three weeks her relatives were looking for her, but Erica Hernández had not been seen since the night of 18 April, when he called home to say he was about how many minutes to arrive.
His three children and the rest of his family received the news that their mother had been found, unfortunately lifeless .
This Monday the authorities discovered an SUV submerged in a small lake near the Pearland area, south of Houston, and this Tuesday the Pearland Police Department confirmed that the body inside the vehicle is that of Hernández .

The Police are now investigating what could have happened so that Hernández’s SUV ended up in the neighborhood lake.
Preliminary inquiries show that the truck struck the sidewalk and platform before falling into the lake.
Hernández’s family is awaiting the results of the investigation and wonders what Erica was doing in that southern part of the metropolitan area, distant from her home and from the place where she was last seen.
During the weeks that she was missing, the initial search focused on an area in the southwest of the city, near from the highway 59. The intense search for Erica was a long way from where she was finally found.
The vehicle of the mother of three was rescued this Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Reflection Bay and N. Clear Lake, in the town of Shadow Creek Ranch.

Last week a search in a similar lake but in Missouri City, which indicates that the authorities may have information about the way the woman disappeared.
