According to statistics compiled by ESPN reporter Jeff Passan, Robinson landed his last hit on 24 June 2019.

The routine that saved Robinson

After the operations and psychological therapies I had to go to, Drew Robinson always found peace in the baseball. Even the day after the suicide attempt, the day he underwent four operations to reconstruct his face, Drew was thinking about baseball.

Robinson gets up every morning and ingests large amounts of water along with a green smoothie. Then meditate and write in your journal. He turns on the television series “Friends”, makes breakfast and plays with his pet, Elli. Then he goes to the country and starts work.

When he’s in Las Vegas, in the winter, Drew always seeks the support of her best friend Daiana Anguelova , of his parents and his siblings. Since the incident, he has increased the narrowness of his relationships in order to continue with strength.

“This is where I belong,” he says. “I feel like I have a lot more in the tank, so having this opportunity to do this feels so good,” were the statements that journalist Passan picked up when Drew returned to diamonds.

The story of Drew Robinson is universal. My colleagues from @ ESPNDeportes (including @ rafaelrojasc ) translated it into Spanish; so it can be read by more people who will know what he is trying to teach us.
