Juan Manuel Delgado Cárdenas , a young man who was a student at the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC), in the border city of Tijuana was shot to death when he was in his home, for allegedly refusing to collaborate with a group of drug trafficking .

According to the investigations, the young man was studying the eighth semester of the Chemist Pharmacobiologist of the Faculty of Chemical Sciences and Engineering of the campus Tijuana , and he also worked in a laboratory, so members of organized crime were interested in him to participate in the manufacture of synthetic drugs but the young man refused to collaborate with them.

According to local media, the crime was recorded in the afternoon Friday 30 of April at the address of the Mexican of 24 years, located in the Florido First Section neighborhood , in the municipality of Tijuana , in the border state of Low California , when he was celebrating the Children’s Day.
