The Miami police have highlighted the heroic action of the three officers in saving a man who had suicidal thoughts.

It could have ended very badly, but thanks to the heroic action of the South Florida authorities, a man did not take his own life and is now in psychological treatment after having suicidal thoughts.

As confirmed by sources of Miami police, three agents of the body rescued a man this Wednesday early in the morning that he felt on the edge of a building in the city center and that he intended to kill himself.

Video surveillance cameras showed a man sitting on a roof ledge talking to two officers . One of them held out his hands and he began to walk forward.

The man stepped back a few seconds later but a third officer approached from behind . Thanks to that, the three officers were able to remove him from the ledge and saved his life.

“Without hesitation, they risked their lives, saved the life of a stranger and then they took him to seek the help he needed ”, announced the Miami Police Department through their social networks.

Authorities and medical experts remember how important it is to ask for help when one has suicidal intentions . So they urge anyone with these kinds of thoughts to quickly go to the National Suicide Prevention Hotline, at 1 – 800 – 273 – 8255.
