UEFA intends to take strong disciplinary actions against clubs that refuse to give up plans to create the Superliga , as indicated by ESPN .

Apparently UEFA has tried to maintain dialogues with the 12 teams founders of the Superliga , with the intention that they formally renounce the idea of the new contest.
