Actress Michelle Vieth and her family have gone through very difficult years as a result of the hurricanes that hit Acapulco, in Mexico, in two consecutive years, a city where some of her loved ones live and where they even have a very traditional hotel. .

The first tragedy occurred in October 2023 when Otis hit the port as a category 5 hurricane, while this year it was John’s turn, which left floods in its wake more than destruction.

The proximity of both storms meant a very hard blow for the inhabitants and businessmen of the area, as there were families who lost absolutely everything, while various establishments continue, to this day, without being able to open their doors, due to the recovery costs. They are millionaires.

Despite all the evils and economic losses they have suffered, the talented actress made it clear that she will not stop in her efforts to recover her family’s assets and they are going there little by little.

“We are not going to throw in the towel, we are going to move forward, God willing. Let’s renew ourselves as much as we can. It is a family business on which more than 70 families depend, we have that responsibility with all our employees,” the actress explained in an interview with ‘Venga la Alegría’.

In another fragment of the conversation she had with the TV Azteca program, Michelle explained that for these December holidays they already have 20 of the 50 rooms that the family hotel had before the first hurricane.

“Right now we are in a process of evaluating whether we are going to add solar cells or if we are going to rewire the entire hotel because, son, it has been one thing after another, sadly, but here we are, little by little, the family united and doing what best possible, but the 20 rooms of 50, which we already have, are ready to receive them,” he concluded.

The establishment, known as Hotel Miami Acapulco and located a few steps from the beach, it is a 2-star category and offers rooms from $600 pesos per night, something like $34 dollars.
