Ricardo Peralta, known for his participation in ‘La Casa de los Famosos México 2’, generated criticism after asking his fans for money. Upon returning from his trip to Europe, he expressed:
“I had an incredible time in New York, in Europe, I was very worn out. “So I’m going to leave you my PayPal so you can deposit me, dolls, because I’ve already spent everything.”he mentioned.
However, he mentioned ‘Las Estrellas’ that he was not “serious” and that he did it in a joking tone.
The publication, according to Peralta, It was made as part of a humorous dynamic that he carries out every year with his followers.but it did not take long to unleash divided reactions among his fans and capture the attention of the media.
Peralta, one of the least beloved of ‘La Casa de los Famosos México 2’, indicated that “he is not bankrupt” and that everything was part of a tradition that he performs with his fans on every birthday.
“”It was a funny dynamic, every year I do it,” Peralta explained, highlighting that his intention was never to alarm or cause misunderstandings.
Peralta is disgusted with the media
However, he also took the opportunity to express his discontent with how the media tends to highlight only negative aspects of his public life:
“That I was poor, oh no! Every year, I and my followers do it live for my birthday. It was a funny dynamic, every year I do it. They only talk about me negatively.”
The video and subsequent statements by Ricardo Peralta generated mixed opinions. While some followers defended the influencer’s humor and expressed their support, others criticized him for considering it inappropriate to joke about economic issues in a context where many people face real financial difficulties.
During his time on the Televisa/Univision reality show, Peralta generated various controversies for his comments, for breaking his friendship with Karime Pindter live and for his closeness to Adrián Marcelo.
Upon leaving the show, Peralta apologized for his behavior and expressed that his intention was not to upset people. After ‘La Casa de los Famosos México 2’, he lost thousands of followers and then was booed at the premiere of ‘Wicked’ and decided to take some time off social media.
