The agency added that Lorenzo “S” was part of an organization dedicated to drug trafficking based in Mexico, where he was in charge of directing the transportation and distribution of narcotics to the United States.
“This organization, between 2015 and 2016, transported large quantities of heroin from the State of Texas to Chicago,” he said without giving more details about the criminal group.
The Prosecutor’s Office added that José “L” was captured in Mexico City in February 2020, and Lorenzo “S” was captured in Cuernavaca, in the central state of Morelos, in October 2022.
“The delivery of the fugitives was carried out at the Mexico City International Airport (AICM), to the US agents designated for their transfer to that country,” the FGR stressed.
